Certifications and Product Safety
What does a product certification mean – and what doesn't it mean? FuturePeaks sells plant-based sports nutrition products, some of which have independent certifications or third-party testing. This page explains anti-doping testing, vegan labels and product safety. Certifications do not automatically apply to every product, flavor or batch. Always check the official register.
1. Informed Sport – banned-substance testing
Informed Sport independently tests certified products and their batches to reduce the risk of substances banned in sport. The official database allows you to verify a specific product and batch.
Nduranz
The Informed Sport register includes selected Nduranz products such as Nrgy Drink 45 and 90, Nrgy Drink Bicarb 45, Nrgy Gel 22.5 and 45, Nrgy Gel 45 Caffeine, Nrgy Chew Bar 22.5, Nrgy Juice Bar 22.5 and Training Bar 30. The certification only applies to registered products and batches, not automatically to the full brand range.

Maurten
Registered products include Gel 100, Gel 160, Gel Mix 480, Maurten Addition, Drink Mix 160 and Drink Mix 320, among others. Verify the product and batch you intend to use.

Näak
According to the manufacturer and certification scheme, the Näak BOOST energy gels and drink mixes are Informed Sport certified. Do not assume the same certification applies to all earlier ULTRA products.
Informed Choice – Tailwind Nutrition
Informed Choice is a separate quality-assurance and testing program, which includes periodic retail sampling. Unlike Informed Sport, testing of every batch is not guaranteed. The official register includes Tailwind Endurance Fuel and Tailwind Rebuild. Do not assume that the older Tailwind Recovery Mix sold at FuturePeaks is the same registered product as Rebuild without manufacturer confirmation. Rapid Hydration and High Carb Fuel have not been verified under this register here.

Science in Sport (SiS) – BETA Fuel
SiS BETA Fuel Energy Gel and SiS BETA Fuel + Electrolyte Gel are included in the Informed Sport product database. Check the batch number; this does not automatically certify other SiS products.

2. Kölner Liste® – selected Nutri+ products
Kölner Liste® is a German database intended to reduce doping risks. Listed products undergo testing for selected anabolic steroids and stimulants. Listing does not guarantee a complete absence of all prohibited substances.
According to the sources checked on 3 November 2026, the following 12 Nutri+ product/flavor listings were included:
- 3K Protein: Natural, Vanilla Cream, Chocolate Brownie
- 6K Protein: Natural, Vanilla, Chocolate
- Nature's Protein: Natural
- Beta-Alanine Powder: unflavored
- Creatine Powder: unflavored
- L-Citrulline DL-Malate 2:1: unflavored
- L-Glutamine Powder: unflavored
- Magnesium Complex
Important: Not every flavor of 3K or 6K is listed. Verify your exact product and flavor. Nutri+ is listed under Nutrition-Plus GmbH.
3. Vegan, organic and other quality labels
Nutri+ – PETA-Approved
Nutri+ reports PETA-Approved Vegan and PETA-Approved Global Animal Test Policy approvals. These concern vegan and animal-testing requirements, not anti-doping testing.
VEG 1 – Vegan Trademark
VEG 1, developed by The Vegan Society, is registered under the Vegan Trademark scheme according to the organization. This concerns vegan ingredients, production and animal-testing requirements, not banned-substance testing.
The Vegan Society's Vegan Trademark
Vegetology D3 – Vegan Trademark and Vegetarian Society
Vegetology reports that its lichen-based Vitashine D3 is registered under Vegan Society and Vegetarian Society schemes. This does not extend automatically to all Vegetology products.
Vegetology Vitashine certification
OATENTIK – EU organic certification and production quality
OATENTIK reports EU organic certification for its oat drink powder, listing control codes SI-EKO-001 and SI-EKO-003. The manufacturer also reports gluten testing (below 20 ppm), kosher and halal certificates and batch-level laboratory testing. Verify the specific documents with the manufacturer before using certification logos.
The manufacturer also reports IFS, BRCGS and FSSC 22000 certifications for its production facility. These are not anti-doping certifications for the oat drink powder.
Barebells Vegan – V-Label
According to the manufacturer, Vegan Caramel Peanut and Vegan Fudge Brownie are V-Label Vegan certified. They contain wheat protein and are not gluten-free. The label is not an anti-doping certification.

NOSHT Jollos – Key Flag
NOSHT says its Jollos energy chews have been awarded Finland's Avainlippu (Key Flag) origin mark. This is neither an anti-doping certification nor an automatic endorsement of all NOSHT products.
4. 4Endurance – manufacturer's anti-doping statement
4Endurance states that it checks its formulations against WADA's prohibited list and applies quality controls. This is the manufacturer's statement, not independent Informed Sport or Kölner Liste® certification.

Creapure® – creatine ingredient quality seal
Creapure® is a trademarked creatine monohydrate ingredient made in Germany. Its origin can be checked using the packaging's QS code. At FuturePeaks, selected Nutri+ creatine capsules and Alphatier Conquerer creatine contain Creapure®. Check the exact product and batch. Creapure® alone does not mean the finished supplement is Informed Sport certified or listed on Kölner Liste®.
5. How can competitive athletes verify products?
- Check the precise product name and flavor. Certification may cover only particular versions.
- Check the batch number. Registers such as Informed Sport allow batch verification.
- Consult the official register. Packaging claims alone are not sufficient.
- Keep records. Photograph the packaging and batch number and retain the purchase receipt.
Important: No supplement certification removes doping risk entirely. The athlete is responsible for the products they use. A manufacturer's claim of WADA compliance is not a product certification issued by WADA.

Other brands
This review did not verify separate product-specific Informed Sport, Informed Choice or Kölner Liste® listings for brands such as Planet Amino, Redder, Puls Nutrition and Summit To Eat. This does not mean these products are poor quality or lack manufacturing controls. Supplement certifications do not apply to equipment or gift cards, and we do not display a general certification logo as if it endorsed every shop product.
Frequently asked questions
Is every FuturePeaks product tested for banned substances?

Does Kölner Liste® guarantee a doping-free product?
No. Testing covers specified substances and samples. Listing reduces risks, but cannot eliminate them.
Has WADA approved 4Endurance products?
No. A manufacturer's statement is not a WADA certification. WADA does not issue product-level supplement approvals.
