Vegan burgers and vegan burger sauce
These vegan burgers are filling and tasty, combining crispy fried steak, fresh vegetables, and a rich vegan burger sauce.
Preparation – burgers
Cut the onion into thin rings and mix them in a bowl with the raspberry vinegar and sweetener. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
Prepare Nutri+ Burger mix according to the instructions and fry the patties in olive oil until crispy brown on both sides. After about a minute of flipping, place a slice of vegan cheese on top of the patty, cover the pan with a lid and let the cheese melt.
Meanwhile, cut the tomatoes into very thin slices, split the roasted peppers and set aside.
Preparation – vegan burger sauce
Chop the pickles into small cubes.
Mix all the ingredients together and season with salt and pepper.
Place the burger mix patties on buns, add vegan burger sauce and vegetables, and enjoy.
Ingredients (2 vegan burgers)
- 1 red onion
- 2 tablespoons raspberry vinegar (you can also substitute regular vinegar)
- ½ tsp sweetener of your choice
- 50 g Nutri+ Burger mix
- 2 hamburger buns (ready-made or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 slices of vegan cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 steak tomato
- 2 roasted peppers from a jar or lightly pan-roasted peppers.
Ingredients – vegan burger sauce
- 2 pickles
- 1 red onion
- 100 ml ketchup
- 100 ml vegan mayonnaise to your taste
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
